Throughout the month of November, I participated in a month-long intensive at the Margie Haber Acting Studio. We met over Zoom twice a week from 6-11pm and learned the ins and outs of on-camera acting and auditioning. For each class, we were given a new TV/Film audition “slice” that we were expected to rehearse and prepare with. Each class was treated as if we were auditioning with the given “slice.” My instructor was the incredible Jim Nieb. Jim gave our class invaluable information, tips, advice, skill and training that have helped immensely in navigating this new normal of auditioning during a pandemic. This intensive continued to fuel my passion and love for this craft during such a difficult and trying time.
